We weren’t born into farming—but the heartbeat of a more nature centered life called to us.
From the creative buzz of Sydney’s inner west and our years spent between city life and the Blue Mountains where we grew up, our path eventually led us to the rolling hills of Southern Tasmania.
Our early days were shaped by art, community, and curiosity, but everything changed after backpacking through Europe.
Slovenia’s small family farms, overflowing gardens, and slow-living charm planted a seed in us: a longing for a life lived closer to the earth.
When our first daughter arrived, that longing became a mission. Discovering permaculture gave us the roadmap.
For the past 14 years we’ve been learning, growing, and building—from rented small farms in Oberon NSW to the quiet valleys of Tasmania.
Today we keep heritage chickens, tend our bees with natural methods. We’ve milked Jersey cows and goats, homeschooled our children, and grow much of our own food. It’s a life shaped by rhythm.
