Rees Campbell is coming to Dover — Sunday 15 November starting 2:00 pm
- 2:00-2:30pm: Tasmanian’s edible native land and sea plants — presentation and tastings
- 3:30-4:30 pm : book launch of the ‘Islands of the Island State’ — Rees Campbell in conversation with Deborah Wace (local botanical artist, printmaker)

Workshop, conversations, nibblers of wild food, books for sale
Learn about:
- what wild edible native plants grow in this region
- how to grow them in your garden
- their historical and modern use
- Palawa kani
- how to harvest
- and most importantly… how to use them in delicious and nutritious dishes.
There will be tastings of products made with edible native plants; crackers, chips, cakes, jams and chutneys and more.
Then relax into a launch of Rees’ latest book with takes us on journeys to 40 Tasmania’s off-shore islands.
