Permaculture Tasmania Inc. has developed a completely new Constitution to replace the organisation’s previous governing document. This new Constitution has been created to provide a modern, clear, and fully compliant governance framework that reflects current best practice for incorporated associations in Tasmania and supports the evolving needs of the organisation, its members, and its activities.
The Constitution has been drafted to meet the requirements of the Associations Incorporation Act 1964 (Tas) and the expectations of Consumer, Building and Occupational Services (CBOS). It establishes clearer processes, updated governance structures, and more accessible guidance for the Committee, Local Groups, and members.
This new Constitution has undergone thorough internal review and has been formally approved by the Committee for presentation to the membership. It is now submitted to members for ratification, as required under the Act.
