This event is the second half of our circular living celebration following on from the Big Day of Circular Living Ideas in March, 2025. It will focus on food and gardens.
The event aims to raise awareness and invite community participation to explore how to garden to reduce waste, to combat climate change, to improve our soils, air and water quality and to encourage a culture of sharing our surpluses and building community resilience.
It will be a day of demonstrations, discussions, workshops and activities focussed on home and community food production and also seeking to engage with the plant nursery industry, to explore ‘plastic-free gardening’.
The event will be both engaging and challenging.
It will be in the Kickstart Arts community centre, a place that is such a wonderful embodiment of sustainable living values and next door to a thriving community garden and native plant nursery.
