Joining Permaculture Tasmania Inc means you become part of a group of people working to increase there resiliency of their homes and communities and to developing local and small scale adaptation to global challenges through learning, sharing and practising permaculture. Resiliency can be understood as the capacity of a household, organisation or community to resist and recover from the impact of external changes and events.
We are the only member-based permaculture association in Tasmania. Our existence is underpinned by a team of committed and experienced volunteers who have a passion for promoting the permaculture design system in Tasmania.
Permaculture Tasmania Inc membership fees:
- $20 per year for an individual or family — partner and dependent children living within the household
- $10 per year for concession card holders.

Your membership fee contributes to
- local groups skillsshare and other events across the state
- guest speakers and workshops
- promotion of Permaculture at events and exhibitions
- insurance cover at workshops and activities
- running costs for annual general meetings, website and other costs.
