Repair Cafe Launceston

A team of wonderful volunteer repairers (including certified electricians) will be onsite to assist in the repair of the following items:

Basic textile repairs and mending (e.g hemming, repairing holes and basic tears, etc)*
Basic hiking, camping and biking equipment repairs (e.g. tents, gators and packs)
Small electronics (e.g vacuums, toasters, kettles, small kitchen appliances, power tools, speakers and radios)
Bike repairs (e.g swapping over parts**, gear indexing, brake alignment and replacing bike tubes**)
Basic furniture repairs
Knife and tool sharpening
Other small item general repairs
* for more extensive clothing repairs, please visit the ReDress Hub’s RePair Cafe, which occurs on the first Saturday of each month.

** please note, specialist parts will not be supplied by the Repair Cafe and must be brought with the item (e.g. bike tube, bike tire, cables, etc).
