34 Paterson St Launceston
Toss it away? No way!
Do you have a broken, torn or busted household item? Bring it along to the Launceston Repair Cafe and learn how to fix it with the help of some expert repairers.
The Launceston Repair Cafe is a monthly free, open community event aiming to divert items from landfill, pass on valuable repairing knowledge and connect community.
Sessions typically include electronic, clothing, furniture, bike and general repairs and IT support, depending on repairer availability.
For more extensive clothing repairs, please visit the ReDress Hub’s RePair Cafe, which occurs on the first Saturday of each month.
Note that Repair Cafes are NOT a drop off service – you must be willing to assist with the repair of your item.
The Launceston Repair Cafe is delivered by the City of Launceston in partnership with Circular North, supported by the Tasmanian Government through the Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Board.
Opening hours
The third Saturday of the month, 1:00pm-4:00pm (Jan – Nov)
