Plasticwise Eastside Sewing Bee

Plasticwise Eastside are a community group based on the Eastern Shore in Hobart. Inspired by local group Plasticwise Taroona , we hope to help reduce the use of single use plastics in our beautiful state and inspire others to do the same throughout Australia and worldwide.

Monthly sewing bees are designed to allow existing volunteers and newcomers to come together and make reusable cloth bags to be distributed to local businesses.
